What Is A Professional Photographer?

We have so many other people we rely on to help us make our way through life. We may not need them everyday, but we sure do appreciate it when they are there.

Taxes? CPA. Teeth? DDS. Photographers? CPP.

Yeahp, we have initials too! Within Professional Photographers of America, earning the title of “Certified Professional Photographer” is not an overnight accomplishment. I joined this organization because continuing education is one of their core beliefs and it’s an everyday occurrence. It’s not just about making better images, it’s also about supporting us so we give you a better experience as a Client. As part of that ongoing journey, I’m so very proud to share that I am not just a Professional Photographer, but I have now earned this title, too.

Why did I pursue this accreditation?

Before we even meet, I believe it’s important for you to have a tangible benchmark of capability. As of this posting, there are fewer than 2,500 CPP’s within an organization of 35,000+ members. The pursuit of this intensive degree has strengthened my choices behind the lens, made me more deliberate with my captures and more readily notice the smaller details that matter with your final images.
